The research report titled “Digital Entrepreneurship Intentions Among Public University
Students in Bangladesh: The Role of Texort.” is aimed at exploring what are the factor for
digital entrepreneurships. This also explored the effectiveness of Texort contribution to the
digital entrepreneurship ecosystem. There has not been enough research done on this concept of digital entrepreneurship. In this study, a sample of 100 university students, either in their
final year of a bachelor's program or pursuing a master's degree, was examined. These students were enrolled in Public University in Bangladesh, with a particular focus on Comilla University. The research followed a quantitative approach and employed a survey
questionnaire patterned after previous research. The questionnaire encompassed two sections: one for analyzing demographic information and the other for gauging study variables using Likert scales. To assess the reliability of the constructs, a Cronbach's alpha (α) coefficient value of 0.70 or higher was utilized. Hypotheses were evaluated through regression analysis. Data collection was carried out via an online survey questionnaire created on Google Forms, and a non-probability sampling method was employed. The analysis was executed using SPSS version 25.0. The findings suggest that digital literacy, entrepreneurship education, innovativeness, and creativity have a significant and positive impact on university students' inclination to pursue digital entrepreneurship. Notably, the regression outcomes highlight that students' innovativeness and exposure to entrepreneurship education exert a more substantial influence on their intentions to engage in digital entrepreneurship. This underscores the importance for policymakers and universities to incorporate policies that foster innovative and entrepreneurial activities within the academic curriculum. |
