AI is rapidly transforming various industries, but its ethical challenges, such as bias, transparency, accountability, and privacy, need careful consideration. While AI improves efficiency in healthcare, education, business, and media, it also raises concerns about misinformation, unfair treatment, and data security. Different organizations have proposed ethical guidelines, but gaps remain in ensuring fairness and responsible AI use. This review paper explores the key principles that guide the development and deployment of ethical Artificial Intelligence (AI). The paper also examines review of existing literatures and presents ethical AI principles, challenges, guidelines and highlights the limitations in current methodologies. To do that, the journal database Scopus was extensively searched using a few pre-selected keywords. In order to identify the publication for final analysis, the PRISMA principles were followed, papers that did not fit the criteria were removed. Ultimately, 84 Q1 journal papers that address a number of ethical AI concepts and standards were chosen after a thorough study. Additionally, the proper answers to the suggested study questions have been discussed. A review summary of the various findings was given for ethical AI principles, challenges, and suggestive solutions were offered for a number of ethical AI problems. By reflecting on these principles and challenges, the paper aims to contribute to the ongoing conversation on how to ensure that AI technologies are developed and used in ways that benefit all of humanity. Finally, it outlines future directions for research and policy-making to ensure that AI systems are used responsibly, benefiting people and society while reducing harm, protecting rights, and ensuring fairness. More research, public awareness, and AI education to help people understand its ethical use should be ensured. Future studies should look at AI's impact in different industries and work towards global standards to ensure AI benefits everyone fairly |
